Nottingham Trent University is proud to deliver top-quality apprenticeship courses over a wide range of business sectors. My brief was to: 1) tell some of these stories in company case studies, hearing from both employees and apprentices, 2) create course overview videos, and 3) create short clips for the team to use on LinkedIn.

Creating over 40 films within a relatively short time frame was a considerable undertaking.
The filming was a great team effort. I worked with a great team at NTU who managed and organised who I was filming and when. Together, we interviewed and captured b-roll with companies and at multiple NTU campuses. Most people we interviewed are not used to being filmed, so it was really important to make them as comfortable as possible and, where possible, to film additional b-roll footage to help go over the interview. Filming case studies of employers and apprentices has been a great way to make them feel valued and continue to build stronger relationships with Nottingham Trent University.
In the edit, it was vital to find the most valuable sound bites to add to the other interviews, helping to tell the story while also keeping the overall case study around 3m30 in length.
From the outset, Sarah understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. She was flexible, collaborative and incredibly easy to work with, always calm, responsive and accommodating, even under tight deadlines. Her editing turnaround was fast, and the final films were beautifully produced, authentic and impactful.

Sarah has a fantastic instinct for finding those genuine, powerful moments that connect with audiences and a sharp eye for visual detail. If you're looking for someone who will bring creativity, professionalism and purpose to your project, Sarah is exactly who you want on your team.
